We at Sørreisa Kran og Transport AS had the honor of being a key player in the demanding mission of transporting the American V-22 Osprey vessel from Senja to Bardufoss, in connection with a major exercise. This mission represented a significant milestone for us, both due to the vessel's extensive construction and the logistical challenges that came with the transport.

When we were approached for this assignment, we knew it would require our most advanced fleet of equipment and expertise in crane and transport operations. The Osprey vessel, known for its unique combination of helicopter and aircraft capabilities, weighs several tons and required careful planning for lifting and transporting over long distances, on land and at sea. We approached the task with a clear goal of delivering safe, efficient and precise transport – which are core values ​​in our work.

From unloading on Senja to safe transport through the challenging terrain to Bardufoss, we were involved in every detail of the operation. The use of our modern cranes and special vehicles, combined with the experienced expertise of our operators, enabled us to meet the stringent requirements of the mission. The close cooperation with the US military and other partners was also crucial to the success.

Although the size and weight of the vessel made the transport demanding, our team handled the mission to a high standard. The Osprey vessel arrived in Bardufoss without delays or major challenges, demonstrating how important careful preparation and professional skill are to succeed with such special missions.
